Florida's votes were counted Some were, let's count the rest. Why do Florida's votes deserve special attention, well that's the tradeoff of the electorial system. In order to not have recounts propogate across the entire country the election is setup in packets which coorespond to states. Each packet can be settled independantly. Since Gore won both the electorial and popular count it is important that we verify this fact by counting every single vote that is in dispute. Heck, count every vote in the country if there is time and money available. TP
