DrO- Forbes magazine suggests your caution is warranted. The article is not yet on the forbes Web site (www.forbes.com- they dribble out their articles from the current issue over a fortnight) and I'm sorry I don't recall the name of the article that mentioned ZOLT. However, they gave three reasons to be cautious. First, Cabot is a major supporter. These are the folks who brought you Presstek and Centennial Technologies. Second, founder Zsolt Rumy sold a lot of his stock in the company at 46. Third, and this speaks to a concern of "cooked books" that has been raised on this thread, Forbes claimed, "the company has a tendency to book sales at the very end of the quarter before the merchandise is delivered." This is contrary to acceptable accounting practice.
I have been curious about ZOLT, but flyguy and now Forbes have raised enough questions in my mind for me to say I'll stay far away.

Larry
P.S. Can you provide a reference on your profile's quote from Orwell? I might have guessed that Orwell's concept of a "liberal" was more the classical European variety, in direct contradiction of the statist overtones the word has developed in this country. |
