Margin on covered calls

This is really easy, because there are no requirements for writing covered calls. If you own the stock, you can always write the call.

100% of the option premium is released to SMA.

With a buy-write, the premium you receive for writing the option can be used to meet the 50% Reg T requirement for the purchase of the stock.
