From the numbers, it would appear that more than 10,000 threads got started in this process. There appears to be no way to distinguish the threads open to nonmembers from the Members-only threads that are about specific stocks.

I guess they've abandoned the idea of anyone actually paying to post (between this and the free lifetime membership offer over the summer).

This is like American Express laying a pile of credit cards out on the street with a sign that says "Take One."
