Daffodil, you are providing a tremendous service. I THOUGHT I had a pretty good understanding of how margin worked - but you are just a wealth of information. Thank you for all your detailed instruction. I never thought of the margin clerks selling at market - DUH ! - but of course they will ... what do they care what price they receive ! What a boon this could be to discerning buyers.... just put a WAG out there for a stock you desire and voila - pennies from heaven . Of course lately, you can ALWAYS catch it even lower a week from now.....LOL
