I would imagine that either epitaxial or bulk wafer could be used for CPU fabrication. Do the real heat dissipation advantages come from the bulk wafers or do the epitaxial wafers reduce heat quite a bit?

I'm also trying to figure out if CPUs could really be made with ISON wafers. A previous PR said they could make up to 500k epitaxial and 100k bulk wafers with the latter being over a 2 year ramp. If someone like AMD wants to make their Palomino chip with pure Si-28, how many chips does that equate to. And would it be easy to use pure Si-28 for some small % of CPUs and switch over to regular Si wafers for rest?

Thanks for any help on these questions!
