Heinz I agree, I have said all along there would be a short term rally to draw in the remaining cash and get shorts to cover. In jan we have two liquidity issues that will help. 1)Estimated taxe payments(whomever is not broke has huge estimated tax, and no cash) 2)tax deferal by many. If a rally is provided many will sell into it and get their taxes defered. 3)Jan Earnings will be brutal. I have thought that the economy is slowing, but in certain areas the residual biz is carying the day. The pre anouncement season has been priced in IMHO but the CC 2-4Q guidence has not. People still looking at inventory corection, and temp slowdown. The fed raises Blah blah blah. However the realization that a severe recesion is due will come begining of next year.
