2001Q1 to meet P4 demand. Samsung is going to ship 18 million RDRAM in
2001Q1--volume increased by 86%--compared with in 2000Q4."
"Samsung RDRAM monthly shipping volume has been increased from 2.75 million
October to 2.9 million November, expected to raise to 4 million December, 55% higher
than in 2000Q3."
"Because RDRAM market is striking back, Samsung has started shipping newly
developed 288M RDRAM using 0.17 micron process since November."
"Samsung says the prediction of RDRAM shipping volume has taken PS2, P4 PC and
server markets into account."
