The market is too smart to figure out things. The market moves well in advance of the fundamentals. Look we peaked in march while the bad news wrt to earnings and slowdown in economy came several months later. The fed will move to neutral in Dec and cut rates in Jan. They would have gone neutral in Nov if not for the election mess. Keep in mind that with an index down 50% average stocks are down much more. Such bargains dont come often. Of course one has to know which ones to pick. All I am saying is that the risks to downside is limited at this point and good enough to establish long term positions. By the time the fundamentals become attractive the market would already have priced that in.
