Terry, Yes, I saw your note earlier. And the recent Insider Selling may well be an indication that the Insiders are even beginning to agree that at current levels AMAT is fully priced.....the thought of lightening up alittle has crossed my mind. for these reasons...(1) the market overall is in no way Cheap at this time (2) we could easily have a "tech wreck" summer (3) our fellow shareholders in AMAT include alot of weak money and any Management guidance that they won't make the Qtr or something like this could hit the stock 10 - 20 points....The other side of the argument is (1) Taxes...oh, yuck! (2) the fact that alot of the extremely knowledgeable, more experienced investors feel AMAT has quite a ways to run...and the darn stock takes off with no advance notice....(3) it doesn't seem logical to me for the Stock price to peak for this cycle several quarters prior to even one record breaking EPS report.
Please tell me if you think I am missing something.....TS
