Saw the American Express analyst, Peter Anderson, on CNBC moments ago. He's been bearish on the tech sector since forever. This morning he came out and said buy the premium big cap tech stocks that you know will have good earnings. First on his list was CPQ. I saw perennial Grinch barton Biggs interviewed by Stuart varney last nite. He said that the Nas is good for a 1000 point rally right here. I almost fell out of my chair. That guy has never made a bullish comment in his life! Otot, Monday morning quarterback Paul meeks at Merrill said stay away from the pc makers and generally panned the tech sector. Sooooo, what's the message from Capellas in his buyback? Obviously he thinks the stock is too cheap, but does it confirm a super quarter? Would be kinda silly to deny channel stuffing, reassure his employees by letter yesterday, announce a buyback today, and then turn in a crappy earnings report. El
