Notes from Bear Stearns report, as reported by ON24
(http://biz.yahoo.com/oo/001201/45704.html)

Speculation that Nokia may announce more 3G contract wins at their analyst day on Tuesday in London.

It is known that Nokia is currently negotiating with Qualcomm for a licensing agreement but no immediate announcement is expected.

Handset pricing has been stable this quarter compared with a downtrend in the overall market, implying an improving profit margin for 4Q vs. 3Q.

AT&T contract estimated to be worth $1 bil. for Nokia over next two to three years. Positive for Ericsson but more meaningful for Nokia. Nortel viewed as a loser (a surprise to me) because it wasn't contracted for any wireless equipment.
