KymarFye: my experience leads me to believe that, at least for day-/swing-trading there's no substitute for discretionary exits based on good info (LII if possible)- esp. when you take into account the differences between fast and slow markets, broker's ability to execute etc... I totally agree. On some days I as do we all, have non market matters that demand my attention, I either have to op out of trading or rely my stop loss system. If you do not mind would you PM me the vendor/make of the software/feed you are using that allows trailing stop alerts. TIA Maybe you need to hire an assistant! (Would give you more time to post your charts here, among other things.) Actually I am doing the reverse. I will be gradually reducing my day/swing trading and the amount of time I spend in cyber space...<g> Regards, LG
