>Humans are inescapably moral because we have been created in the image of this
God.<

This is a ridiculous statement given the variety of moral customs humans have exhibited in their various societies. Humans are inescapably social- but their morality is quite relative, as all observable data show us. Now all societies have "morality"- which is simply to say that all societies have rules, but I doubt that is what you meant. But the rules are very very different. And I think you meant to tell us there is some inescapable God morality- in specific form, some perfect form of morality on which human morality is modeled. To reason that because humans have societal rules and customs that they were created in the image of God is extremely illogical when looking at the range and breadth human morality exhibits. It was the custom of some civilizations to eat the brains of their victims- to absorb their strength. This was part of their society and morality. That certainly came from THEIR gods but I doubt it meshes very well with yours.

You can believe humans are inescapably moral- but I don't see how you can possibly prove it, since humans in their entirety, taken society by society, seem to manage to escape ANY hard and fast dicta we could create about morality, and what is moral.
