John - *ot* go for the GPS, you'll love it. The heating controls are separate (and very intuitive), audio is on the steering wheel as well as the console, and you only use the touch screen to fine-tune the Mark Levinson Audio system or make other rare option adjustments. I used to think that GPS was just a toy but I have already used it twice in the 3 days I have been driving the car. Once to find the closest convenience store to buy milk on my way home - sure I could find one but it was handy - and the second time to get directions to pick up one of my wife's friends, who knew her address but had no idea how to direct me there. Plus it is entertaining.

I forgot to mention the treated glass - also the Ultra package adds air suspension and skid control on top of the traction control. And adjustable suspension - sport is nice - as well as a power setting that adjusts between performance (faster shifts at higher RPM, runs a richer mixture to add power), normal, and "snow" which manages the traction control and transmission to improve manageability in slippery weather. We don't have much of that here in Houston...

As far as weight, it is clearly a solid heavy car but the acceleration will snap your head back if you punch it.

And it is quiet as a library at freeway speeds - which in my neck of the woods means 85 to 90 MPH most of the time.
