Never wanted the porch to be just a place where people pick up investment ideas and still don't! I said when I came over here, if you want just technical investment info, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. Tom, Great post! Although I am a sometimes poster, full time lurker and therefore not considered a porcher, I couldn't agree more. This has obviously NOT been understood by some people in the past. Many want others to make decisions about their investments. That is what mutual funds were designed for. It is fine for people to ask for advise and opinions but not to try to make others be responsible for the ultimate decisions and most important, the results of those decisions. All here seem willing to give support, sympathy, etc. to everyone as they should, but they should never have to feel responsible.
