Harris Interactive uses a base of 100,000 who come willingly, not at random. Harris knows the Demographics of them...and adjusts...and Harris I. appears to me to be the most accurate of all pollsters...calling this particular popular vote for Gore with virtually the exact edge he has, and similar accuracy in many many other races.
