Hi A.L.

I'm not a short-term trader so I don't try to guess what is going to happen to short-term prices.

The market psychology right now is really downcast, so people tend to sell as a rule rather than buy as a rule. 1 year ago gateway's problems would have been largely ignored amidst the rally.

People get spooked by events and news & we've had our share of bad news for the last 3 months. That doesn't change the fundamentals of Sun, however.

I'm looking to 12/18 & 12/19 for the following VERY positive indicators to help market psychology:

12/18 the electoral college votes for Bush.
12/19 AG lowers interest rates.

There's no rule that states "Sun Microsystems must trade at no more than 35x earnings". Sun grew well in the early 90's, but they are a different company now.

I don't believe that the end of internet euphoria means the end of internet-generating wealth. I believe, rather that that is the beginning of great wealth-building for e-commerce companies.

I also don't see anything or anyone standing in the way of Sun achieving a market cap of $450-500B. Do you???
