>>>>The bull market was due to two factors. Mr Greenspan and the economic and tax policies put in place by Clinton's predecessors. Unfortunately, whoever comes in now will have to deal with the likely recession the Clinton/gore years have led up to.<<<

Daddy bush in his campaign of 1987 uttered the now infamous words "watch my lips, no new taxes", after he was elected he instituted the second largest tax increase in the history of our country. That was the first example of a tax policy going backwards from when Clinton was elected which you say is why Clinton shouldn't be given credit for the good times.

I find it funny that you right wingers keep repeating that the reasons why economic times have been good under Clinton are the Repugnantcans doings and they should be given full credit for them. At the same time you blame democrats for the bad repugnantcan years. It doesn't hold water.

Now you are saying a recession is coming and there is nothing Bush Jr can do about it.

Well let me say this as a democrat. If Gore is elected I don't think we will have a depression but you are right when you say we may have one with Bush Jr in office.
