Thanks for your take. I was surprised however, that any of these tertiary companies would show appreciable gain on a day when the Majors were having their numbers reduced, regardless of PRIA increasing their manufacturing capacity. As go the Majors, so go the PRIA's to a large extent.

From Briefing: 15:38 ET Intel (INTC) 34 1/16 -4: Evidence of paranoia: rumors of another big tech warning started with Motorola (MOT) and have now spread to Intel (INTC), which is not a surprising target given misses from Gateway (GTW) and Micron Electronics (MUEI); these are all just rumors at this point but they are clearly taking their toll on the Nasdaq (+6).
