i can't believe the guys on this thread are discounting trinidad's abilities to the extent that they are. everyone is picking vargas except me.

now some might say, oh, we're not discounting trinidad so much as we are elevating vargas in our mind's eye for aggression, power and fire in the belly. just another way of saying you think trinidad doesn't have it.

and i can't believe the people here are overlooking his talent. he is not aging, his skills aren't eroding, he hasn't ducked anyone, he has great power in both hands, HE GETS UP OFF THE CANVAS AND WINS, he has national pride and intensity, and he has plenty of experience. he has knocked out many more fighters than vargas has faced, and they weren't cheap fighters.

yet you (the guys on this thread who have picked vargas) count him out for this new and improved model that has arrived on the scene. for every fight vargas has had that he was expected to have trouble, but prevailed? trinidad has had three. trinidad always faces the guy who is supposed to dethrone him. for seven years. and has emerged victorious every time.

you do not do the man justice when you overlook these facts. you kid yourselves.

Prediction: felix trinidad knocks out vargas in the sixth round
