Brian,

I didn't go to the website you offered for calculating a discount cash flow, but I infer from your explanation of it that we have to assume one rate of growth for the entire period of time we are projecting. That's a typical problem with most if not all of them that I've seen. The companies we look at surely won't grow at the same rate the entire time. Being the smart guy that John is, :) I assume his spreadsheet will allow us to input at least three separate periods of time in which growth rates will be different.
