Gore winning the electoral college vote is your own illusion. The National popular vote is not a required condition. Even if Gore gets his counties counted, the counts will be done by people other than 2:1 partisan canvassing boards, who won't change the rules as they go because Gore is not picking up votes in enough numbers. The results of the fair election will be confirmed. A court ruling in Gore's favor after tomorrow's hearing gives Bush the opportunity to win the unfair election.
