Well, we should certainly be wise stewards, and I am glad you will be able to find a suitable home. But if we all were to spread across the landscape in so sprawling a fashion, your pristine areas would rapidly disappear. The relative congestion of metropolitan areas, in part, permits the bucolic expanse of farmland, and the wildness of state and national forests. I am not sure of all of the problems that go into maintaining decent water supplies in impoverished countries. Perhaps education and a little care would take care of much of it. On the other hand, it is awfully useful to have storm sewers and septic tanks, reservoirs and purifying plants.......
