Pamela, I said that I could duplicate what EDIG has, in regard to flash-memory management, in a few months.

I did NOT say that I could write an OS in a few months.

You are once again putting words into my mouth.

Let's make it clear:

1. I feel I could duplicate EDIG's flash memory management software in a few months.

2. Their flash memory management software is NOT an OS.

3. I never said that I could write an OS in a few months.

An "OS", to me, is a full-featured operating system. For real-time applications, I'd consider VxWorks to be an OS. This would require perhaps hundreds of man-years of software development. Something I can't do on my own, nor is it something that EDIG could or has done.
