Hi Mike,

About 18 months ago I took a Windows NT server class at my local community college. It was 4 credits, and was preparatory for the MCSE certification which was a separately administered by third parties. The cost of this course to me was about $200, including class time, lab time and textbook. In contradistinction, the similar class from Global Knowledge costs $2,595. Almost 13 times as expensive for a class that simply doesn't offer the vastly superior learning opportunity to clarify issues with a live instructor and/or lab mates in real time.

I'd call Global Knowledge's solution as not quite ready for prime time. Once they get the cost down to $150 per class, then they will be competitive.

Best, Ray
