Agreed, not on a moment to moment basis. However, taken over a decade or two, a clearer picture emerges. Sauls certainly voted for Bush. That was enough for me to say case closed last Monday.

It's all a game. And the better players see further to the eventual end-game. This stage is more like chess than football.

Sadly, I think you are right. It ought to be more like Prof. Tribe described it earlier today, a matter of using instant replay and the microscope to determine who actually won. We're apparently not going to do it that way. We'll see Gore checkmated by the system, as you say.

Boies is losing because he is advancing weak arguments. He still has some strong ones in the quiver. Can you help a fella out here? What is he holding back? And why?
For a kabuki-esque deus ex machina at the very last moment?
Seems more Hollywood than what is called for at this juncture.
