LOL.. I can assure you I wasnt rude to the poor guy at Schwab.. My beef with them was that I couldn't understand why it was so hard for them to find a buyer for 5000 shares at 1/4 point under the best bid when ten times the shares were trading at that level.. after all they do have MASH which is as I understand one of the biggest market makers. Yes I was pissed, but I wasn't rude to them... Just trying to get them to explain why this order was so hard to fill.

Who do you recommend for trading.. Doesn't IB give you direct access to ECN's if you use other than best execution.. you can route directly to ECN's or preference individual market makers as I understand..

as to your conspiracy theory comments.. Point well taken.. I know that the market makers are trading against me for a profit. this is why they are in business. I have no altruistic beliefs about there job.. They are not in the business for any reason other than to make money for themselves.. the same reason I am in it. to make money for myself. I don't place any value judgements on it... I know, I know, I said they are criminals,, maybe that was too harsh. Having been screwed handily by many market makers in many ways maybe I have become jaded.. and don't try to tell me these are all reasonable nice conscientious people who have nothing but our best interests at heart.. I know you are smarter than that.. I did go back and read some of your posts now... I can learn a lot from you I suspect..

and I am open to learning.. I am familiar with hardrightedge.. very good stuff.. the other site I will definitely peruse.. thank you for sharing the good info..
