All: I'd like to make a suggestion to this thread to save everyone some time, both readers and posters alike.
If you are a republicrat, instead of saying 'Bush won the election', use the phrase 'Tastes great'.
If you are a demopublican, instead of saying 'Gore won the election', use the phrase 'Less filling'.
If you are a republicrat, instead of saying 'the votes have already been counted umpteen times', use the phrase 'Tastes great'.
If you are a demopublican, instead of saying 'count the friggin votes', use the phrase 'Less filling'.
If you are a republicrat, instead of saying 'The rotten demopublicans are trying to steal the election', use the phrase 'Tastes great'.
If you are a demopublican, instead of saying 'The rotten republicrats are trying to steal the election', use the phrase 'Less filling'.
After sampling this thread several times at various points in the last few weeks I can assure you that these arguments will be at least as substantial and intellectually stimulating as those currently presented on this thread. Egos and feelings will not be hurt, and a certain peace will overcome those who choose this alternate and eminently sensible way of expressing your difference of opinion concerning these two men, which makes as much sense as arguing over a single brand of lite beer.
