And Moose, I'll bet dollar for donuts that you said the Dems would lose house seats in '98 because of the White House BJ...uh , if I remember correctly, that was an unprecedented event...the party in the White House GAINED House seats in the 6th year election.

And I'll bet more of those dollars that you never thought for one second that this Senate would wind up 50-50.

So, I really do hope you believe the Repubs will gain seats in 2002...you would be the perfect contrarian indicator 3 for 3 wrongs...better than Granville or Fleckenstein.

Time will tell...but the odds in general are on the Dems side for the off year election. With the spin they will throw out, it's a near lock.

But hey, neither one of us will be on this thread in all likelihood to even talk about it.
