On the other hand, PD is one of the main players in the nonferrous index, the ONF:

Go figure. I dont think there is a real benchmark for copper, per se, and the problem with using mining indexes is that the presence of gold skews the whole thing artificially.
On a related matter: We are nearing bottom territory in general, Friday's action notwithstanding. I smell the mud. M2
