You seem like an intelligent person. I can see your logic when you say: "I am suggesting that the failure of the Bush campaign to request a manual recount at the proper time is fatal to their argument" What I can't understand though is why you focus on "the proper time" to request a count but do not apply that criteria regarding the completion of the count. How do you justify one without the other? If anyone could explain this to my satisfaction I could understand the viewpoint of the democrats much better. It is impossible is not an acceptable answer (unless someone can explain why it is impossible).
