Just to stick my big nose in, it's very understandable that people get a little "testy" during times like this. I, for one, also do what John does in the context of believing in the company long term and holding (and adding to) a core position, but still recognizing that this stock is very volatile and can be traded. I view thestreet.com as my friend in that I was able to buy CREE cheaply the last time they printed a similar article and profit quite nicely from it, even after taxes. I was pleasantly surprised to see them print virtually the same info (with a few added embellishments) with the same effect on the stock price. It remains to be seen if the stock will recover-I suppose this company could be all smoke and mirrors-but CREE is now my largest holding and I sleep quite soundly.
Just my two cents.
