We will have to discuss this in more depth. Which post of TLC are you referring to?

Let me retract any reference to TLC. He/she /it can speak for himself, however I believe his/her/it's tenor is one of wanting to have a political body that works "best for most" rather than one that works for it's own self interest. I may be wrong that this is how he/she/it feels and I'd invite him/her/it to rebuff me.

I'm a registered Independant and beholden to no particular ideology. My views are shaped by my experiences of having been both an employee(union and otherwise) and also being an employer. I am also a father of 2 young girls and am concerned about the society in which they will grow into. I also spend a good deal of personal time working with and being amongst some of the poor and mentally ill.

As such, I don't hold that "every man for himself" in it's purest sense can address some of the societal problems we have. Likewise, the socialistic, Big Daddy in Washington approach is not effective. This is why I say the country needs a vibrant Democratic Party. But it needs one of integrity.
