Agreed. I don't hate the lawyers on either side for instance. They are doing their jobs. Just like sharks in the water eat indiscriminately, so do lawyers do the bidding of their client's interest.

The same with the OJ lawyers and prosecutors.

But at the end of this process we may be left with a residue of legal process that has subverted the higher goals of the Republic. The practice of dilatory law, as Bush is attempting, is little better than the Clinton tactics that saw him persevere the impeachment process.

The truth is abused, the Republic is soiled. Bush, with each obstructing move, has been losing his supposed moral authority. Ironically he is already breaking this campaign promise of his to restore integrity to the White House before he is even declared the winner.
