It's the truth.

The basic CDMA patent IS the same however QCT was clever in tieing alot of "support" function patents to CDMA2000
that do not apply to WCDMA. I have only seen a few however
for example there are some involving GPS/CDMA2000 interactivity etc that apply to CDMA2000. In general as a designer you realize that to use the basic CDMA2000 you end up needing some of these support patents as well. With WCDMA you can get around alot of these, In the end QCT gets less for the "complete" package with WCDMA.
