However,I would add the following measures :
1. Since American Liberalism has VIRTUALLY invaded Canada through Hollywood ,printed matter ,ever more Liberal TV offerings/the Arts and the like, there is no need for invasion any more.The job is done.Canadians accept defeat gracefully and all Liberals await the new opportunities in these areas.Conservatives and Liberals on both sides of the boarder realize there is NO NEED to have their respective countries divided. They therefore consider the following transition to proceed without prejudice.
2.Applications - The transition shall take place on a strictly voluntary basis.No one shall be forced to endure short and cold days of Winter , nor long hot days of summer.There will be an Internet site set up immediately for those who wish to register. 3.- Information - Both Countries will begin information sessions to all potential Can-Americans/Ameri-Canadians to ensure they understand the implications of their choice to move. Deep Southerners will be educated in the art of Igloo building and Far Northerners will be educated in the art of Clay Hut building.These are the extremes, of course, but you get the idea.
4.Firearms-All Americans moving North will be expected to dispose of ANY firearms before entering Can-America.All Canadians moving South will have access to those weapons if they don't already have some before entering Ameri-Canada. Firearms are manditory in Ameri-Canada.
5.Travel And Clothing- All Americans moving North will be expected to carry sufficient warm clothing and preferably travel in Motor Homes larger than most Canadian's existing homes.Canadains moving South will be expected to travel in Pickup trucks and SUVS and carry sufficient brightly coloured clothing and Sun-Block.
6. Money - all participants will exchange their money on a one for one basis.One US$ = One CA$.This will be necessary to immediately stimulate the Northern economy and bring the currencies in line with each other over time.This looks like an advantage for Can-Americans on the surface , but longer term it will help balance the two economies.
7. Health And Safety - All new entries into Canada will immediately be registered for Health Care via the respective Provincial requirements.All new entries in America will be expected to use gains from the money transfer to immediately buy Health Insurance.
8.Education - All school age children will be given Exams to determine their educational level.This will be based on the three R's ,the sciences and World History and Geography.Children will be placed in the appropriate class levels based on those exams.University students may apply for new Campuses or use the Internet to find transitional partners willing to swap. Exams may be given at the discretion of the respective institutes.
9.Military - All straight Can-Americans between 18 and 30 will be expected to undergo authorized and approved basic training within one year of moving.All Ameri-Canadians will be expected to take dory rowing and spear throwing training if they chose.
10.Housing/Jobs and Choice Of Location - All participants will be provided adequate interim housing and work at the location of their choice to live.Recommendations will be made through the information sessions prior to leaving their respective countries, so as to ensure as smooth a transition as possible.
These are the basic requirements I have come up with so far.I anticipate a Republican win in this election.I here-by submit my desire to assume the property of Alec Baldwin in anticipation he will gladly move to Vancouver, B.C and continue his carreer in a more acceptable environment.I live in a space-age tent at a futuristic Circus grounds, and expect this will be adequate as compensation to Mr. Baldwin...er lose. <g>
