Can you explain in terms a layman would understand? Are you implying that we are watching the onset of psychosis with Gore...or is it just a decompensation in a non-psychotic person whose stressors are more than he can handle? It is my understanding that decompensation can happen in various degrees of mental illness. I am sure the word is used quite often in that DSM book....and I am willing to bet that there are a few people on SI that exhibit the signs :-)))))))))))))))))
