Ken,

I'm sure you are right about this, but what is the purpose of all those crazy quotes still out there? I would assume the Market Makers could create their spreads anyway, even if the quotes were close to "fair falue" What happens to the liability issue of standing behind the published quotes? Doesn't the SEC expect the exchanges to regulate themselves in regard to firm pricing?
