Herb G. is a straight-shooter. He may not always be right, but quite often he is. As someone else who also has been reading Greenberg since his Chronicle days and had some interaction with him over the years, I have to agree that he always seems to be sincere and well-intentioned. Over the years he has caught a number of people with their pants not too well buttoned, but I have to say that there are also times when he seems to latch on, but that it wasn't really justified. I don't think there is any hidden agenda in this, just one of the mistakes we all make ... only a bit more publicly in his case.
