Hi Ray, I heard him make those comments. Kinda scary, as I've followed his semi calls from the summer and he was pretty much spot on. Denial is a powerful force, and it's at work all over the place these days. Or was..... Not too much denying right now. The ST thinking (Buy the dips) has cost small fortunes recently (on the way down). Like a guy in the rain trying to light a fire with now water-soaked wood and zippo lighter. "Why doesn't this work," he muttered to himself. It's worked for the last 5 years, damn it! LOL. Oh well....this may churn for a long while. 3-6 months unless the fed decides to be both psychologically and numerically aggressive. Odds of that? Let's check the bond futures on Monday, but last I saw on Friday, they're pricing in an neutral bias, but no ease until Q1. I can live with that for at least some psychological relief. Steve
