The Dell workstation would probably be the computer to look at for configuration ideas. Why the trading machines are not under home computers is puzzling to me. The idea of dual processors is intriguing. You could have one devoted to the trading activity and one devoted to everything else (or so it would seem). Is 2 733 equal to one 1.5 chip? I previously thought streamer quotes just came in and exited and had no impact on the hard drive. However, the rate of fragmentation of my hard drive altered my thinking. If you find out anything about these issues please let me know. I rec'd a BSOD with the latest version of streamer. However, they have taken it off line (I suspect to fix what ever the problem was). When did you encounter your BSOD?
