aren't you glad to know that the Earth is not flat ?

The sad thing is that if he does, it is a truth that came from outside the bible. Since one truth comes from outside the bible, might there be more? This is a logical slippery slope for someone who wants to claim that their dogma is consistent, perfect, convincing and inerrant. It is precisely like saying that God didn't create Evil. There are things that God didn't create? It's illogical to render your God blameless for creating evil and sin, and saying it is due to free choice. If He is all-knowing, then He knew, has known and will know all things before they happen. If he isn't all knowing then he isn't all-powerful.
