In less time than many right-wingers can believe, Bill Clinton will be ranked as one of the most successful presidents in modern American history. Tens of millions will yearn for his return. There's nothing like having to live with an alternative -- like Dubya -- to burnish a former president's reputation.

Still, I don't think he's likely to run for president again. Clinton is very highly respected overseas, where it's the Lewinsky affair critics who are laughed at and not Clinton. Likely, he will busy himself on the International scene. The dems will turn to new leaders like John Kerry, Bob Kerry, Tom Daschle, Gray Davis, and a lot of others whose reputations also will grow as disenchantment with Dubya grows.

Speaking of Dubya, has anyone else noticed how his eyes blink rapidly whenever he's lying?
