In speaking to a new client today, I asked what he did and he said he was a trader. He used some terms to describe his activity that were new to me.

I said it had been a rough year for investing. And he said it hadn't been for him, that they were "market neutral" and were up 35% so far this year. He went on to explain that he was a "logarithmic trader."

what is a "logarithmic trader?"

I understand, literally, what market neutral means, but I don't understand how you implement that attitude into a trading plan.

can a left-brain person explain this to me please?

Thank you
