VG, MSFT's presentation at CSFB tech conference is decidedly bearish. they could either miss this quarter or guide down next 2 quarters. Consumer PC's not selling well (GTW warned) and corporate PC's (window 2000) not particularly strong either (DELL not doing well although CPQ said they are fine). there are other software companies will do much better than MSFT.
