Are you a SFA shorter, Gemstar long or what is your interest in this? Over the past few weeks you have been posting non SFA friendly junk here everytime there is an uptick in SFA's price. I have bit my tongue each time and checked out your postings only to find most of them are either false or at the best, only remote possibilities.

I spoke with investor relations about your AOL nonsense and they expect no reduction in sales to Time Warner because of the AOL merger. You earlier also stated that NUMEROUS formats of STBs were available and after much research and talking with both MOT and SFA found that there are in fact only two industry standards, SFA's and MOT's.

I am just curious what your angle is here. Not that I care much but curiousity has finally gotten the better of me. Besides a Gemstar rulig will have minimal impact and if anything should be seen as a positive for both companies as the unknown will be over and the added cost will just be added onto fees. SFA is not a provider of feed, just equipment. The cable companies can choose to provide or not provide that feed and only the capability is put into the box by SFA so licensing fees will be minimal.

BTW, there are tons of tech stocks with PEGs more rewarding of short interest than SFA. I just took profits from shorts on CPWR, NTAP, etc and am about to hit QCOM again soon as well as some of the gorilla stocks just as soon as a short term bounce is over.

Good Luck,

Lee
