fwiw, those 5 naz stocks in the OEX make up almost 20% of index movement. supposedly the CBOE will be releasing a "QIX" based on QQQ. politically I'm not sure why they would since QQQ is a competing product to theirs. you can be assured various versions of a "QIX" are already in use at proprietary trading houses.
