What I hope comes out of this.. Is that a FEDERALLY MANDATED AND FUNDED program be in place to have standardized optical or other State of the Art Voting machines be in place for EVERY precinct in the country for the next general election in two years.. No state option or funding.. So a state could use the EXCUSE of not enough money so as not to place new machines in selected precincts or areas.. Now that the election process has been taken out of state hands, the country can use some of the surplus generated in the last few years to fund this most important aspect of our democracy.. .
