Eugene, last time around we had heated arguments about the coming bottom price. It may have caused some to miss getting in at a low price. If you buy some AMAT now, at least you have a reasonable estimate of downside and, more important, you know how the SEMI orders cycle works, even if you don't know how investors will react to it this time.

I'm not buying anything until I see how the search for the index bottoms plays out. On the way up I may have to pay more than now, but it will be safer. I'm very tired of buying stocks that go down.<vbg>

You may want to wait until the next SIA ww semiconductor shipments number comes out next week.

INTC had a trailing PE of 10 just 6 years ago.

It matters little how cheap the stocks seem to us.
